I am blown away that the gender divide at this conference is 50/50 and so happy that all the questions you get are super detailed.
Jordan is an interesting place!
The content was technical enough to appeal to software engineers, but without making it feel like university lectures.
Most of the sessions discussed the latest technologies and current hot issues. No old, over-talked topics. It was great to see local speakers taking the stage.
I detected a heightened energy with the audience. Everyone was young and engaged. People interacted with each other throughout. They had a great gender diversity as well.
From what I could tell it was almost a 50-50 split. Speaking to someone from Expedia, they also have a similar gender split in their office. Impressive!
